Security Officer

We are looking for someone able to
Main required skills
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Networks or a relevant field.
- Experience as a Security Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc., and experience implementing security controls to meet these standards.
- Expertise in identifying, assessing, and managing cybersecurity risks, especially in a software development and cloud-based environment.
- Experience working with: IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, Cloud Front, RDS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, SQS.
- Proficient with git and git workflows.
- Experience in integrating security into DevOps pipelines (e.g., CI/CD), automation of security testing, and governance using tools like GitHub Actions, Terraform, or similar.
- Ability to evaluate and manage third-party vendor security, including conducting due diligence and contract negotiations.
- Experience in designing and reviewing security architectures for applications and infrastructure, especially in cloud-native and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with using tools such as Drata, Vanta, AWS security services, and conformance packs for automated security checks.
- Good knowledge of a programming language (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, or Python are preferred).Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
